Suggested Fix:- You can try verifying the extensions of the file by verifying the company name of the file. You can do this by right-clicking on the file and selecting properties to know the file extension. You can copy the company name and change the extension by copying it onto a new folder and renaming it with an extension of .qbx / .qbm or .qbb, whichever works for you.
Now, double click the file and check to see if it opens or not. If this doesn't work, you can copy the company name from a flash drive by pasting it into a new folder on your desktop. In case the Problem persists, you may take help from our Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisors, Call Toll-Free at:

- Confirm that you wish to create an Accountant's copy and then click Next, Select a dividing date and click Next
- Change the location if you wish to and then click Save. Here, before saving, do make sure that the file's extension is .qbx
